CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#derivatives--Matrix Executions announces a number of exciting organizational changes with the start of the new year, as the company continues to focus on team expansion and technological investment after a 2022 punctuated by record growth.

Matrix Executions congratulates Bryan Radigan in becoming the company’s new Head of Electronic Sales. Since joining the Matrix Executions team in 2018, Bryan Radigan has served as an important ambassador for the company during his tenure as a core member of the Matrix Sales team. Mr. Radigan’s industry relationships and knowledge have served, and will continue to serve, as an important launchpad for growing Matrix’s client base in the electronic options landscape.

Mr. Radigan added, “Having joined Matrix in its first year of operations, it’s been a uniquely rewarding journey being able to see how far we have come. It’s an honor to now be able to shape our company strategy and future successes as Matrix’s Head of Electronic Sales. Our continued growth year after year is a testament to the quality of our offering and our deep industry know-how -- I expect 2023 will present more opportunities to showcase our skills to the options industry at large.”

To support Matrix’s continued growth in 2023, Matrix is excited to welcome two new Senior Sales Executives with decades of experience to its expert team -- Brian Brophy and Robert Frain. Mr. Brophy started his options trading career in 1991 with Société Générale, later trading options at firms that included BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, and Credit Suisse. In 2010, Brian Brophy launched RBS’s equity derivative sales in North America.

Robert Frain joins Matrix as with deep knowledge of both the U.S. and Canadian electronic options and equity markets with a focus on institutional sales. Mr. Frain started his career in 1996 with Morgan Stanley, later as Director of Sales Trading for KCG, and Institutional Sales for Banc of America, GTS, and CAPIS.

Matrix is also pleased to announce the establishment of a new Matrix SPX Sales Team in 2023, welcoming seasoned traders Ron Myers, Dan Walsh, and Matt Schueneman as the formative members of this group, and allowing Matrix to service the expanding needs of its industry clients.

Ron Myers started his extensive career in options as a runner on the CBOE in 1992. Since his start in the industry, Mr. Myers has worked as a clerk, broker, Market Maker, and has traded SPX for over 20 years.

Dan Walsh began his career at the CBOE in 1994, and over the past 29 years, has worked at industry firms such as The Chicago Corp., Gruntal, LiquidPoint, and Convergex before joining the Matrix team in January 2023.

Matt Schueneman began his career in trading in 2002 as a Market Maker with Citigroup on the CBOE, later becoming a broker for MNR Executions. Matt brings with him decades of experience of being both a broker and trader and a deep understanding of SPX trading.

CEO Jordan Naylor commented, “In a rapidly changing and evolving electronic options world, Matrix has always been committed to providing its clients with the most skilled and dedicated experts to support their strategic objectives in trading. We are excited to start 2023 with such a robust Sales team, and a new SPX team, so that we can provide our clients with excellence and unparalleled expertise in all that we do.”
