WATERLOO, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Odyssey Interactive has launched Omega Strikers, a free-to-play 3v3 footbrawler, worldwide with full cross-platform functionality including cross-play, cross-progression and native controls on Nintendo Switch, PC and on the App Store for iPhone and iPad and Google Play for Android devices. Players worldwide can now join the next generation of competition and experience Omega Strikers’ approachable goal-focused gameplay that blends the physical fun and deep character mastery of modern competitive multiplayer games. Odyssey is launching Omega Strikers with an eye towards future content, with Season 1 set to see five new Strikers released with three limited time events planned, each bringing unique modes, content and rewards for players.

The core competitive experience of Omega Strikers is centered around goal-based gameplay with two teams of three Strikers battling it out to score points on each other over three fast-paced rounds. At launch players can choose from up to 15 different Strikers, the vibrant characters each with their own unique personalities and abilities that bring the match to life. Each Striker on the ever-growing roster features a suite of cosmetic upgrades including skins, animations, reactions and more that can be obtained through in-game progression through Striker Affinity System or purchased directly through the in-game store. Teams must work together, adjust to their opponent’s strategy, use their abilities and special Core Flips at the right time during the moment-to-moment chaos to rise as the victors. Matches play out in individually crafted arenas with their own unique layouts, environmental obstacles, hazards and buffs, further increasing the variety of each match and requiring teams to adapt their strategies to become the best of the best.
