LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FXCM Group, LLC (“FXCM Group’ or ‘FXCM’), the leading international provider of online foreign exchange trading, CFD trading and related services, is today releasing its data of most popular instruments for the month of June in its Single Share CFD and proprietary Stock Basket product lines.
FXCM offers fractional single share trading with no commission fees* on leading companies from the US, UK, France, Germany, Hong Kong and Australia. FXCM’s stock basket products combine the shares of multiple companies from one sector into a single tradeable instrument. The company currently boasts a portfolio of 16 stock baskets. The list of companies and weightings is available on FXCM’s stock basket website (https://www.fxcm.co.uk/stock-baskets/)
“Recession fear” was the buzz term for global stock markets throughout June as FXCM traders tried to navigate the volatile market. Electric Vehicles dominated the top of the rankings as Tesla remained the most traded single share followed by Nio Inc, a leading China EV company, which saw a rigorous battle between its investors and short sellers in late June. Alibaba and Amazon remained in the top five while Ping An Insurance, a Hong Kong listed Chinese insurance company, joined the top five group for the first time.
On the stock basket side, China Tech jumped back to second spot, only behind FAANG in client interest. While the Work From Home basket caught attention once again, jumping to fourth spot, its highest rank since February, followed by Biotech, a Biotechnology basket, which joined the top five for the first time in 2022.
