Circle Computer Resources Launches Holding Company Model, As CCR Technologies

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Circle Computers Resources was founded in 1986 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. What started as a computer repair business has grown into a global technology provider. In the last 30+ years, the services of CCR have changed as it has grown into a global technology provider while staying connected to the homegrown roots, remaining headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as a second-generation family-owned company. Over the years, Circle Computer Resources started to become known as CCR across the corridor with the tagline, 360 Confidence.

In 2019, CCR began the process of launching dedicated brands - with a focus on understanding the unique technology needs of their customers and markets, while leveraging the advantages of being part of CCR. So became the CCR Family of Companies - BeyondReach, ConstructEdge, CCR Media, Orbit Farm Technologies, and Sandwire. This diverse portfolio of brands and services enable CCR to serve clients with their diverse technological needs - while leveraging the advantages of being part of the CCR Technologies portfolio. While the focus in the past 5 years has been on launching the dedicated brands to their markets - it was time to bring them together, under the holding company now known as CCR Technologies.

CCR Technologies is an homage to the legacy and history of Circle Computer Resources, while combining that legacy with the breadth of services provided today as a global technology company. This change allows the CCR Teams to best balance the dedicated understanding across various markets and needs, while benefiting clients with the skills, talent, and capabilities of all the CCR Technologies teams.
