Bluebid Homes Announces Launch in Massachusetts

Amid housing crisis, new real estate technology company expands direct access to off-market inventory

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#Yourprivatewayhome--Bluebid Homes, a real estate technology company connecting homebuyers and homeowners – so both parties can privately explore off-market deals, today announced the launch of its platform in Massachusetts. The company was founded by Chris Mackey and Dan Liliedahl to build a more welcoming path to homeownership.

Once a home has been claimed by its owner, interested buyers can directly submit confidential offers via the Bluebid Homes app or website. Only when a homeowner and buyer have an agreement in principle does Bluebid match them with a licensed real estate agent to begin a formal private sale process.

Mackey previously founded MackeyRMS – a leading software provider for investment professionals. As CEO, Chris oversaw a client roster spanning 30+ countries. Under his leadership, the company announced a strategic equity partnership with Resurgens Technology Partners in 2019 and a merger with InsiderScore in 2021. Rebranded as Verity, the firm supplies research management software, data, and analytics to 350+ institutional investors globally with a combined ~$5T in assets under management.

Chris currently serves on the boards of Verity and DepositLink, a mobile responsive digital payments solution for real estate businesses. He received his BA from Harvard University and his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Dan Liliedahl brings 25+ years of technology leadership to Bluebid having most recently served as CTO of AirTank, a full-service digital agency and provider of software development, digital marketing, and design solutions to B2C and B2B brands. Dan was the founder of eFoundry – a professional services firm providing Fortune 1000 clients with focused expertise in the development and deployment of sophisticated Web infrastructures and content management applications – and served as the company’s CTO for over a decade prior to its acquisition.

Dan received his BS in Electrical and Engineering from the University of New Hampshire’s College of Engineering and Physical Sciences.
