What Is Viewing Angle?

We know what you are thinking. "What the heck is a viewing angle?" Well, it's simple. The viewing angle is a device or a piece of hardware which is the maximum angle where the users can still view the display well. Different types of widgets and displays have different viewing angles due to pixel brilliance, the flow of current through display materials, and the general engineering of how the screens present themselves as interfaces. Think about it this way: If you're holding a phone in front of your face, turning it side-to-side will make it harder to see what's on your screen. If you lay your phone down on a table, it'll be harder to see what's displayed on the screen if you're looking at it from above or below. Some displays have a wider angle than others, usually shown in degrees. The wider the viewing angle, the better presentation for a public setting like an airport or an airport waiting for area, where people might be coming in from any direction and still have a chance to see the screen. A narrow viewing angle display is best for one-on-one communication like a presentation because there's no 'safety zone' where the screen can't be seen. The viewing angle is always the range of tips from which you can see your screen and get a good picture. It's also known as the "viewing cone". So, the wider the viewing angle, the better! For some screens, like those on laptops, slight angling of the screen can decrease the quality of the display picture. Some critics of LCD technology also point to the limited viewing angle of many screen models. The viewing angle is the amount of space in which you can view a display without noticing any degradation of image quality.
