Netbus is the remote-control software for the masses. When you think of malware, you probably think of viruses and worms. What about the Trojans? Although they're less popular than their counterparts, Trojans are still widely used by hackers to gain access to your computer. Netbus is a Trojan designed to remotely control Microsoft Windows applications over a network. It is one of the most popular methods for gaining unauthorized access to a remote computer for malicious purposes. The software works on Windows 95, 98, ME and NT 4. 0 operating systems, so if you have any of these versions of the OS installed on your machine, you could be in danger of being hacked through this malware! Netbus is a nasty virus that can do everything from shutting down your computer to stealing your passwords. It's a Trojan horse, which means it gets into your system when you download something that looks innocent. Once it's in, Netbus will take over your computer and make it do things like steal your passwords or shut down the whole thing! You might think, "I've got antivirus software. How supposed to get rid of this? " Netbus is tricky, and most antivirus programs won't catch it. Your best bet is to call in a professional who can remove Netbus. If your phone company knows more about you than you do, it's probably Carrier IQ. Carrier IQ is a company that provides analytics software to various telecom providers. They've developed programs that offer information about smartphone users to cellphone carriers, like what apps they use, how often they use them, how long they spend on them, and even where the user is using them. The problem with this is that there needs to be a way for an average user to know whether or not her carrier has installed these programs on her phone. Even if she knows that her page uses the Carrier IQ program, she cannot opt out of it or stop it from collecting data about her activities and movements. The fact that this kind of information is being collected without our knowledge or consent raises serious privacy concerns—yet we have no say in whether or not our carriers can do this. Privacy advocates are up in arms over the Carrier IQ scandal, which involves a company collecting performance data on smartphone users. Carrier IQ gathers performance data, tracking and logging what users do on their phones. This can include calls made, texts sent, and emails received. While this is not necessarily an invasion of privacy in terms of content (e.g., Carrier IQ does not have access to the actual content of phone calls), it does present a risk to user privacy because it allows third parties access to information about whom you called or texted, whether you're using your phone to browse the web or send emails, etc. The issue came to light when reports revealed that Carrier IQ had collected information about users' phone activity without their knowledge or consent. It was reported that some phones were even sending data from users' text messages directly to Carrier IQ without permission from the device's owner!

Cellular networks have been around for a long time, but they're still new to us humans. The word "cellular" comes from the word "cell." It uses radio waves to transmit information between the device and cell towers, which are antennas that receive signals from your phone. These signals are then sent to a switching center and routed to your carrier's network. The process of receiving a cellular signal is called "handoff." It happens when you move from one cell tower's coverage area into another cell tower's coverage area without losing your connection. When this happens, your phone automatically connects with the new tower without dropping its connection with the old tower. Handoff (or handover) is a key feature of cellular networks. It's that thing where you're talking to someone on your phone, and suddenly, their voice gets all staticky and weird, and then it goes back to normal again. It's important because it means you don't have to get up during your phone call and walk to another room to get better reception.
