What Is Compressor/Decompressor?
A compressor that can also decompress gas acts similar to a magician's trick. You put something in, and you get something out that is completely different from what you put in! In contrast to a magician, though, you may alter the amount of data by using a compressor and decompressor. If you snap a picture of your cat, for instance, and then compress it using a codec, the resulting picture will take up less space than the original picture did. This is due to the fact that a codec makes use of algorithms to decrease the size of digital material by eliminating unnecessary data and compressing it into a smaller file format. When it comes to data storage, compressors and decompressors are like unicorns. They are mysterious and enigmatic, and they have the capacity to shrink or enlarge the size of your files with only the touch of a button. They give the impression that your hard disc has more available space than it does, and they are not too difficult to work with either. Compressors function by taking a block of data and compressing it, which results in the data taking up less space on the hard drive or flash storage of your computer. They can also compress whole files into one compressed file, which makes storage on disc drives or in the cloud more efficient. Decompressors do nothing more than turn compressors around and uncompress the data back into its original format. This allows the data to be read by other programmes or computer systems without any degradation in quality. This can be used to extract files from a compressed archive, such as a.zip file, or from a compressed stream of data, such as when downloading music from the internet through services like Spotify or Pandora Radio.
