Context: Discussing the unique challenges of OT environments: legacy systems, IT/OT convergence, the explosion of connected industrial devices (IIoT), and the limitations of traditional security tools. Our Vision: Introducing how Palo Alto Networks Device Security provides a unified platform for securing the entire industrial attack surface, from IT to OT.
A technical session focused on key capabilities for industrial security Complete Asset Discovery: Showcasing how to achieve full visibility across OT/ICS networks. This includes passive monitoring with App-ID and Device-ID for sensitive legacy systems, and active discovery methods where appropriate. We'll highlight our deep understanding of industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850).
A practical demo within Strata Cloud Manager, focusing on an OT use case: Building a comprehensive OT asset inventory. Creating a Purdue Model-aligned segmentation policy using Advanced Device-ID. Simulating a threat response scenario, such as isolating a compromised PLC.
