Closing Keynote
The rapid rise of generative AI — the rewards, responsibilities, and current realities for enterprise
According to Goldman Sachs, generative AI could drive a 7% (or almost USD 7 trillion) increase in global GDP, and lift productivity growth by 1.5 percentage points over a 10-year period. Much of this growth will be driven by spend on generative AI cloud services, which are estimated by Bloomberg to reach over $109B by 2030. With great reward, however, comes the need to ensure this technology is used responsibly. For Amazon, where Artificial Intelligence and machine learning have been a focus for over 20 years, our approach is to democratise generative AI, and to help our customers with best-in-class tools in a way that is safe, cost effective and above all, innovative. In this session, AWS Chief Technologist for Asia Pacific and Japan, Olivier Klein, will discuss the rewards, responsibilities and the current realities of this paradigm shifting technology, in a business environment where generative AI is already in market and rapidly evolving.
